Here a "Culture Warrior" of traditional Americans,takes off the gloves and comes out swinging. It is important to fight the erosion of our culture today. Western Values is my attempt to preserve our heritage, in an increasingly hostile environment towards the Church, and American Traditions.

You are correct about the revisionist history taught in our schools about the War Between the States, usually called the (civil war) today in our classrooms.
I am a little younger than you, and was forced to stop and think about this article concerning Arizona, and the Federal Government ruling against their State immigration law, which only mirrors the federal law. It is absolutely inconceivable to me, that the federal judge has ruled against this sovereign state.
Then I remembered an old woman that I once spoke with, who once lived in my neighborhood...
Her family had owned a farm in Virginia, and this little girl remembered Confederate troops camping out on their property. Being a curious type, I asked this woman just why the Confederacy had decided to take up arms against the U.S. Government, and her reaction to my question scared me quite a bit!
Her eyes became furious about my question, and she rose up her fist and pounded on the table screaming: "Because the Federalist invaded Virginia, that's why"!!!
I never really understood just why she became so emotional about my question on that day; but in reading this article, her reaction now makes perfect sense to me!
